The other day...and yes I am alive

Have you ever watched someone in the rain and said, "what are they doing out there, they're getting soaked?" You wonder why it is so important for them to be out there when they could easily invoke a self declared rain delay, but no they stay. That was me the other day as I was out with some friends for a golf day sponsored by a local funeral home.

We were in the middle of playing and the rain rolled in. At first is was not to bad and we hoped it would subside, but it quickly began to escalate. The more it rained, the more fun we had, the more we laughed and to top it all off we pared all 5 holes we played in that crazy rain. It was good days and one of the memories that you hope you can make when you are out with friends. To top it all off I never once heard that voice in my head of the on-looker, "come in, you're getting soaked and it's just golf."
