Since were with my folks for Turkey Day, we also took the opportunity for the girls to open their gifts from Grandma and Grandpa. It also allows us to fill an already full car with more items, good days. It was a very Zhu Zhu Christmas, how I would love to thank the guy that came up with that joyus invention.
It was also cool that Rach and I got to take in the Gopher/Hawkeye game. Even though they lost we had a great time together. The stadium is not bad at all, except for the amazingly small concourse. Before the game had a few minutes to grab a quick bite and landed at Punch Neapolitan Pizza, it was delicious! They fly through the pizzas and the wood burning oven just makes tasty pies.
During the summer, Rach picked up some skates for the girls. So after school one day we headed over the the rink for some skating and daddy time, which always rocks. Both girls did great and I pray that the idea of taking lessons for figure skating never goes to either of their heads.
The reason I put thankful we don't have a cat. When we were younger we had a cat that cut it's leg on the Christmas tree stand and bled all over the floor of our house. It was crazy days, at least it didn't pull a Griswold 'cat'astrophe and chew on the lights, but it did make for interesting times. Merry Christmas from the Swartys.
